Christmas Bird Count for Kids
Saturday, December 21 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: Southeast Whiteshell Fire Hall
The Christmas Bird Count for Kids is a fun winter birdwatching event for kids and families. Become citizen scientists as we gather information about the Whiteshell’s winter birds. After getting a crash course in common bird species we will trek outside for a short walk and count as many as we can. Afterwards we will warm up with hot chocolate and treats. All are welcome!

Location: Pine Point Self-guiding Trail
Snowshoe along with a Park Interpreter as we venture to the scenic Pine Point Rapids and discover what makes a Whiteshell winter special. At the rapids, we will warm up in the shelter with hot chocolate.
